ABOUT ME

My name is Aga Pietrzykowska . I am a visual artist.  I create in the trend of abstraction and figuration.

Apart from painting, I also deal with  illustration and collage. In addition, I run workshops on creative thinking.

I believe that art has an energizing effect on the viewer, it should provide appropriate aesthetic impressions, amuse and move people,

provoke thinking and educate in an interesting way. That is why I believe that ART IMPROVES ... man, the environment, the world ...
 

ILLUSTRATION and COLLAGE are a very important factor that inspires me on a daily basis and is used during creativity training. I have been running for several years  illustrator STUDIO PE, where I carry out projects for large and small.

I have cooperated with, among others:   The Fryderyk Chopin Institute, KUKBUK, SLOW MAGAZINE, POLISH OLYMPIC COMMITTEE, POLISH INSTITUTE IN BEIJING, MUSEUM PALACE IN WILANÓW, SAS INSTITUTE, PLAKAT MUSEUM, PWN, UNIVERSITY OF WARSAW, TVNIELNOG, WYD OFFICE, and many others.

ABSTRACTIONS is usually a visualization  my internal states. Color, organic forms juxtaposed with geometric order and the physical effect of color are the main elements that constitute the core of my thinking about art. I started with composing jewelry in the Bauhaus style. Now I also find geometry on canvas.

In the painting series " WOMAN ", I code certain messages and with the help of elements contained on the canvas - I strive 

down  visually energizing the space. These are works based on the psychology of shape, form or color, combined with structural, architectural and cartographic elements. THEY RECENTLY APPEARED IN THE TECHNICAL RELIEF.
